What Is a LongPour at LongHorn?
A LongPour is LongHorn’s upsized drink. You get about one and a half glasses. The server fills your glass and leaves the rest in a small shaker or carafe.
The LongPour comes with The Perfect, Strawberry, and Mango Margaritas. Many wines also come as a LongPour. A Chowhound guide to the LongPour says a standard wine glass holds 5 to 6 ounces. It also says a LongPour usually costs $2 to $3 more than a glass.
| The Perfect Margarita | Price | Glasses of drink | Cost per glass |
| Regular glass | $11.49 | 1 | $11.49 |
| LongPour | $13.99 | About 1.5 | About $9.33 |

That makes the LongPour about 19% cheaper per glass. It’s the better deal if you planned on a second drink anyway. The calories rise too, from 290 to 410 for The Perfect Margarita.

What Are the Best Drinks at LongHorn Steakhouse?
Five drinks stand out at LongHorn. They are The Perfect Margarita, the Old Fashioned, the Moscow Mule, the sangrias, and the Texas Margarita. These are our editorial picks, based on price, calories, and how often reviewers single them out.
The Perfect Margarita ($11.49)
This is the house margarita and the best all-round pick. It has 290 calories and comes as a LongPour for $13.99. Order it on the rocks with salt for a tart, less sweet drink.
LongHorn Old Fashioned ($11.29)
Bourbon fans should start here. LongHorn’s website says it uses a 120-proof Knob Creek bourbon aged nine years. It has 250 calories and 19 g of carbs, fewer carbs than any LongHorn margarita.
Moscow Mule ($10.99)
The mule is cold, gingery, and lighter at 220 calories. A former LongHorn employee writing for Tasting Table suggests adding a splash of strawberry purée. Not every bar will make it, so ask first.
Blazing Berry or White Peach Sangria ($10.49)
Both sangrias are fruit-forward and easy to drink. The Blazing Berry has 240 calories, and the White Peach has 260.

Which LongHorn Drinks Go Best With Steak?
Bold steaks like bold drinks. Lean cuts and seafood suit lighter pours. These are our suggested pairings, matched by flavor.
| Entree | Our drink pick | Why it works |
| Ribeye or Outlaw Ribeye | Cabernet Sauvignon or LongHorn Old Fashioned | Big tannins and bourbon stand up to the fat. |
| Flo’s Filet | Pinot Noir | A soft red won’t drown out a mild cut. |
| Renegade Sirloin | Draft beer or Merlot | An easy match for a lean, seasoned steak. |
| LongHorn Salmon | Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio | Crisp white wine cuts through the rich fish. |
| Parmesan Crusted Chicken | The Perfect Margarita | Lime brightens the cheesy crust. |
| Wild West Shrimp | Michelob Ultra or a Moscow Mule | Cold and crisp next to the cherry peppers. |
Compare cuts and price per ounce on our LongHorn steak menu with prices.
